Which AI tool automates video generation with no coding?
Updated October 23, 2026 · By Tyler Bennett
The AI tools that automate video generation with no coding fall into three groups: prompt-to-video apps such as InVideo AI and Pictory that draft a whole video from a script, node-based builders such as Runway Workflows and Sloosh Spacelab that chain models into a pipeline you can rerun, and connectors such as Zapier that pass files between apps. In Sloosh, you wire inputs, prompts and video models on a Spacelab canvas, then publish it as a Space: a form your team fills in to get the same kind of video every time, with the credit cost shown on the button before you press it (Sloosh docs, Oct 2026).
Which one fits depends on what you want to repeat: a finished talking video, a fixed chain of generation steps, or a hand-off between apps.
What does "automating video generation" mean without code?
No-code video automation means you set up the steps once and then run them with new inputs, without writing scripts. It comes in three forms.
- Prompt to finished video. You give a topic, script or article. The tool writes scenes, picks visuals, adds a voice and captions. InVideo AI and Pictory work this way. You automate the editing work, but each video is a new project.
- A reusable pipeline. You chain the steps yourself on a canvas: an input, a prompt, a model, an edit. Then you rerun the chain with a new photo or line of text. Runway Workflows, Sloosh Spacelab and Wireflow work this way.
- App-to-app automation. A tool like Zapier or Make moves data between apps, for example from a spreadsheet row to a video tool that has an integration. This automates the trigger, not the creative steps.
[ inputs ] photo, script, product name

[ canvas ] prompt > video model > edit > music

[ publish ] canvas becomes a form (a Space)

[ run ] one form run, a batch, or an AI agent
A reusable no-code video pipeline: build the chain once, then run it from a form.
No-code video automation tools compared
These tools all let you make video without code. They differ in what you automate and how you rerun it. Every row was checked on the vendor's own site.
| Tool | Type | What you automate | How you rerun it | Checked on |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sloosh Spacelab and Spaces | Node canvas published as a form | Inputs, prompts, image, video and audio models, edits | Fill in the Space's form; Batch on Pro or Max; AI agents over MCP | Oct 23, 2026 |
| Runway Workflows | Node canvas | Input, media model and LLM nodes in a custom pipeline | Run all, or run one node | Oct 23, 2026 |
| InVideo AI | Agentic video editor | Script, shot plan, voice, timeline edits from plain-language commands | New project per video; custom agents | Oct 23, 2026 |
| Pictory | Script and article to video | Scenes, visuals, AI voice and captions per line of script | New video per script; an API for developers | Oct 23, 2026 |
| Synthesia | Avatar video platform | Presenter videos from a prompt, document or deck, in 140+ languages | New video per script; an API for developers | Oct 23, 2026 |
| Zapier | App connector | Moving data between 9,000+ apps, including some video tools | Triggers in other apps | Oct 23, 2026 |
Check each vendor's pricing page before you commit, since plans and credit costs change often.
Best no-code video automation tool by job
- Talking-head training or explainer videos at volume: Synthesia, for avatars and translation.
- Turning blog posts or scripts into social videos: Pictory, which gives every line a scene, a voice and captions.
- Editing your own footage by describing the cut: InVideo AI, whose editing agent works on a multitrack timeline.
- A custom generation pipeline inside one video vendor: Runway Workflows, with Runway's own models.
- A pipeline your team or clients run from a form, across many models: Sloosh Spacelab, which publishes the canvas as a Space with a
sloo.sh/s/link. - Kicking off a video when something happens in another app: Zapier or Make, if your video tool has an integration.
How to automate video generation in Sloosh
In Sloosh, you build the steps once in Spacelab and run them from a form. Studio offers 22 image models and 20 video models, and Spacelab adds audio models for music, speech, lipsync and dubbing (Sloosh docs, Oct 2026).
- Open Spacelab. Press Spacelab in the top bar. You can type an idea and let Sloosh build a first canvas, start from a template such as Image to video models, or add nodes yourself.
- Add the inputs. Add an Image Input for the product photo and a Text Input for anything the person running it should type. Rename each node: its name becomes the form field's label.
- Wire a prompt into a video model. Models have no prompt box in Spacelab, so add a Prompt node and wire a Text Input into one of its variables. Wire the photo into the video model's first frame.
- Add edits and sound. Video Concat joins 2 to 10 clips, Merge audio + video lays a Lyria 3 track under the picture, and Veed Subtitles burns in captions. Video Concat and Merge audio + video are free.
- Run it once. Run, at the bottom right, shows what one run costs before you press it. To redo one shot, press Run on that node only.
- Publish. Publish turns the input nodes into a form. The Space goes to your workspace and gets a
sloo.sh/s/link. - Run it at scale. Fill in the form for one video. Turn on Batch to run a folder with one subfolder per product (Pro: up to 50 items, Max: up to 200). Or connect Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor over MCP and ask the agent to run the Space.
If someone has already built the workflow, skip the canvas: open a ready-made Space from Spaces, fill in its form and press Generate.
Watch out for: Sloosh has no scheduler or webhook triggers documented, so a person or an AI agent starts each run. There is no public Sloosh API or API key yet (Sloosh API docs, Oct 2026). Iterator nodes multiply runs and Spacelab refuses a single run above 64 passes. Batch mode needs the Pro or Max plan.
Frequently asked questions
Can I automate AI video generation without writing code?
Yes. Node-based tools such as Sloosh Spacelab and Runway Workflows let you wire inputs, prompts and models on a canvas and rerun the chain with new inputs. Prompt-to-video apps such as InVideo AI and Pictory automate the editing work inside each new video.
What is the difference between a video generator and a video workflow?
A video generator makes one clip from one prompt. A video workflow chains several steps, such as a prompt, a video model, a second shot, music and captions, and runs them in order each time. In Sloosh, Studio is the generator and Spacelab is where you build the workflow.
Can I run one AI video workflow on many products at once?
Yes, in Sloosh. Turn on Batch above a Space's form and pick a folder with one subfolder per product, and each product runs through the Space on its own. Batch needs the Pro plan (up to 50 items) or the Max plan (up to 200 items).
Can AI video generation run on a schedule?
Not in Sloosh today: no scheduled or webhook-triggered runs are documented. App connectors such as Zapier and Make handle scheduled and event-based triggers, but only for video tools that offer an integration. In Sloosh, an AI agent connected over MCP can start runs when you ask it.
Does Sloosh have an API for video automation?
Not yet. The Sloosh API docs say there is no public API and no API keys to create. AI tools connected over MCP can find a Space, get a quote and run it in your workspace, within a daily limit someone sets in MCP settings.
How much does an automated video run cost in Sloosh?
It depends on the models in the workflow. Spacelab's Run button and a Space's Generate button show the credit cost before you press them. Nodes that call a model cost credits each run, while Video Concat, Trim video, Extract Frame and Merge audio + video are free.
Bottom line
If you want a finished video from a script, InVideo AI, Pictory or Synthesia do the most work for you. If you want the same multi-step video made again and again by people who never touch the setup, build it once on a canvas: Runway Workflows inside Runway, or Sloosh Spacelab, which publishes the canvas as a form your team can run one at a time, in batches or through an AI agent.
