Can Claude make multiple videos in one session?
Updated October 23, 2026 · By Tyler Bennett
Yes, Claude can make multiple videos in one session, but only through a connected video tool, because Claude does not generate video itself. Connectors such as Sloosh, Higgsfield, HeyGen and fal give Claude video tools over MCP; with Sloosh, Claude can quote and run one generation after another in the same chat until it reaches the daily credit limit you set, and a Pro workspace runs up to 6 jobs at once (Sloosh docs, Oct 2026).
The real limits are not the chat itself. They are the tool's spend rules, its queue, and how many jobs it runs in parallel.
Why Claude needs a connector to make video
Claude's own help center says Claude "doesn't generate photos or illustrations the way image-generation tools do"; it builds diagrams, charts and interactive visuals in HTML and SVG instead (support.claude.com, checked Oct 23, 2026). It describes no built-in video generation.
Video comes from an outside tool that Claude calls over MCP (Model Context Protocol), an open standard that lets an assistant use another app's tools. Claude writes the prompt, calls the tool, waits for the job and reports the result. Because each call is a separate tool run, nothing stops Claude from making a second, third or tenth video in the same conversation.

One chat, several tool runs: Claude quotes each video, then runs them side by side.
How many videos can you make in one session?
The number depends on three things in the connected tool, not on Claude.
- The spend cap. Most video connectors bill your account with that vendor. Sloosh adds a daily credit limit that every connected agent shares, which resets at midnight UTC and which the agent cannot raise.
- Parallel jobs. Sloosh runs 3 jobs at once on Creator, 6 on Pro and 12 on Max; anything past that waits in a queue (Sloosh plans doc, Oct 2026).
- Your Claude plan's usage limits. Long agent sessions use Claude messages and context. A batch of ten videos is ten or more tool calls, plus polling.
In Sloosh Studio, a single Generate makes up to 4 outputs. Over MCP, Claude can repeat generations, or run a published Space, as many times as the limit allows.
Video connectors for Claude compared
All of these work as connectors in Claude. Facts come from each vendor's own page.
| Tool | How Claude connects | What it makes | How you pay | Checked on |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sloosh | Plugin or custom connector, browser sign-in, no key | Images and video from 22 image and 20 video models, plus Space runs | Workspace credits; agent MCP access on Pro or Max | Oct 23, 2026 |
| Higgsfield | Connector, "no API key required" | Image and video from "30+ models", plus workflows | Higgsfield plan (plan not stated on the MCP page) | Oct 23, 2026 |
| HeyGen | Custom connector, OAuth | Avatar videos, Video Agent, translation | "Bills against your existing plan" | Oct 23, 2026 |
| fal | OAuth sign-in, key only for clients without MCP OAuth | 1,000+ models: image, video, audio, 3D | Server free; pay per model run | Oct 23, 2026 |
| CreativeClaw | Claude plugin, Google sign-in | Video from models such as Seedance 2.5 and Kling 3.0 Omni | Credit packs, no subscription | Oct 23, 2026 |
Best for, in one line each:
- Sloosh: making a set of product or ad videos with a hard daily cap and a price on every run.
- Higgsfield: creators who already work in Higgsfield and want its workflows in chat.
- HeyGen: talking-avatar and translated videos.
- fal: developers who want the widest model catalogue and pay-per-run pricing.
- CreativeClaw: trying video in Claude without a subscription.
How to make several videos in one Claude session with Sloosh
The Sloosh MCP server lets Claude run spaces, generate images and video, and manage assets in your workspace. Setup takes one connector and one setting.
- Connect Claude. In Claude web or desktop, add the Sloosh plugin from sloosh.ai/mcp under Customize, then Plugins, and connect it on the plugin's Connectors tab. In Claude Code, run
claude mcp add --transport http sloosh https://mcp.sloosh.ai/mcp, then/mcpand sign in. - Pick the workspace when the browser opens. The connection stays in that workspace.
- Set a daily limit in MCP settings on sloosh.ai/mcp. Nothing paid runs until you do.
- Ask for the batch in plain words, for example "Create three 9:16 ad variants for my summer sale on this sneaker" (a starter prompt from the Sloosh docs).
- Approve the quotes. Every paid run starts with a quote that is good for 5 minutes. Claude then runs each job; results show in your chat and stay in your Sloosh Assets.
For a repeatable batch, ask Claude to run a published Space. The Sloosh MCP page says batch workflows over MCP go "through Spaces": build the flow in Spacelab, publish it, and the agent runs it like any other Space.
Watch out for: agent MCP access needs the Pro or Max plan; Creator does not include it. Agent runs spend the same workspace credits as runs in the app, so a long session can use up a day's limit quickly. Set "Ask before spending more than" to 0 if you want Claude to confirm every paid run.
Spend guards that matter in a long session
A session that makes many videos needs guard rails, because each run costs money. The Sloosh MCP docs list these:
- A shared daily limit. Every AI tool connected to the workspace shares one limit. Runs still in progress count against it until they finish, and reconnecting does not reset it.
- A quote on every paid run. The agent sees the price before anything is charged.
- One charge per retry. Each run has a key, so if Claude retries after a lost response, you are charged once.
- Cancel keeps finished work. If you cancel a run, finished outputs stay charged and unused credits come back when the run ends.
Frequently asked questions
Can Claude generate video on its own?
No. Claude's help center says it does not generate photos or illustrations like image tools do, and it describes no video generation. Claude makes video by calling a connected tool such as Sloosh, HeyGen or fal over MCP.
How many videos can Claude make at the same time?
That depends on the connected tool's parallel-run limit. Sloosh runs 3 jobs at once on Creator, 6 on Pro and 12 on Max, and queues the rest. Other tools set their own limits, so check their docs.
Will Claude charge me for each video?
Claude itself does not charge per video, but the connected tool does. With Sloosh, each paid run is quoted first and billed in workspace credits, within the daily limit you set in MCP settings.
Can Claude keep the same character across several videos?
Partly. Claude can reuse the same reference image and the same character description in each prompt, which helps, but the video model still decides how closely each clip matches. Models that take reference images hold a face or product better than text-only prompts.
What happens if a video fails partway through a session?
The failed job does not stop the session. In Sloosh, credits for a failed generation come back, and Claude can try again; a retry after a lost response reuses the run key so you are charged once.
Bottom line
Claude can make as many videos in one session as the connected tool allows. Pick the connector by job: HeyGen for avatars, fal for raw model range, and Sloosh when you want a priced quote on every run, a hard daily cap and up to 12 parallel jobs on Max.
